The Golden Ring is a ring of cities northeast of Moscow, the capital of Russia. They formerly comprised the region known as Zalesye. These ancient towns, which also played a significant role in the formation of the Russian Orthodox Church, preserve the memory of the most important and significant events in Russian history.

| Day 3. Moscow,Serghiev Posad,Suzdal. | Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Serghiev Posad. Lunch at a restaurant in Serghiev Posad. Visit toTroitzko – Serghieva Laura, one of the most famous monastery of Russian Orthodox Church, founded by Russian Saint Sergy Radonezhsky in 14 century. The monastery is located in the distance of 220 km from Moscow. Transfer to Suzdal. Check-in. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Suzdal. |
| Day 4. Suzdal,Vladimir,Moscow. | Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Suzdal with visit to the Kremlin with entrance to the cathedral of theNativity of the Virgin. Transfer to Vladimir.The City of Vladimir, one of the oldest Russian communities, is now considered as one of the major cities of the Golden Ring of Russia. City tour of Vladimir – theGolden Gates (without entrance), the Assumption Cathedral (with entrance). Return to Moscow, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in the hotel. |
| Day 5. Moscow,St.Petersburg. | Breakfast at the hotel. Walking tour along Old Arbat street, a favourite place of artists and the most popular place of Moscovites and Moscow’s guests because of its cafes, shops and restaurants. A tour of the Moscow underground known as one of the most beautiful metros in the world. Transfer to the railway terminal. Departure for Saint Petersburg (the second class). Arrival in Saint-Petersburg. Meet and greet the local guide. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Overnight at the hotel. |
| Day 6. St.Petersburg. | Breakfast at the hotel. Morning: sightseeing tour. During the sightseeing tour you will see the main places of interests of Saint-Petersburg such as the Palace Square, St. Isaac’s Square, Senate Square, Spilt of the Basil Island, Nevsky Prospect, cruise “Aurora”, the Field of Mars, the Bronze Horseman–a very famous monument to Peter the Great. Lunch in the city. Afternoon- visit to the Hermitage(entrance fee included). The Hermitage – one of the greatest and most famous museums in the world that houses masterpieces of such artists as Rembrandt, Rubens, Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Rafael, Matisse, and Picasso. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. |
| Day 7. St.Petersburg. | Breakfast at the hotel. Morning: visit to the Catherine palace in the town of Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo). The Catherine Palace, the favorite summer palace of Catherine the Great, known for its collection of unique artifacts of decorative art, furniture, porcelain, statues, paintings and more including personal belongings of Russian emperors and their families. Speaking of the inner rooms it is worth mentioning the world’s famous Amber Room. A walking tour round the park, one of the most beautiful regular parks in the world. Lunch in the city. Visit to Peter-and-Paul Fortress (entrance included), one of the oldest constructions of the city, founded on a small island in the Neva delta on May 27, 1703 and that day became the birthday of the city of St Petersburg. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. |
